How to Grade Long Answer/Written Response Questions in Quizzes

To grade long answer/written response questions in a D2L quiz complete the following steps:

1. From the Quizzes tool locate the quiz that contain the written responses that need to be assessed.  Click the dropdown menu to the right of the title>Choose Grade
2. Select the Attempt X link to review the student's quiz submission
3. Scroll down the page to locate the written responses in the quiz>Evaluate the student's response, enter the student's points in the Score box>leave feedback in the Feedback window by clicking Expand question feedback, complete this process for all long answer questions
4. When finished scoring all written responses>Click Publish
