Java Error:
Java Security Exceptions are added in slightly different ways for different browsers, but when using IE, Firefox, or Chrome, you should get a security notification from Java on the browser if something is being blocked. The notification or warning asks you for permission to allow (you may have to click on a notification icon located on the same line or just below the web-address bar). I have provided a screenshot to show you what this looks like, for example, when using CengageNOW on a Firefox browser:
