How to Remove Start Dates in D2L Announcements

1. Click the action triangle next to the announcement you'd like to edit. Click Edit.
2. Scroll down to the Availability section.
3. Uncheck the box next to "Always show start date".
4. Click Save.
5. Return to the homepage to view the announcement, and you will see the start date no longer appears.

How to Insert Quicklinks in D2L Announcements

1. In a new announcement, click the Insert Quicklink chain icon.
2. In the URL field, copy/paste the url you would like to link to.
3. In the Title field, type the words you would like displayed for this link.
4. Once you are finished with the entire announcement, click Publish.
