Setting your pronouns in D2L/Brightspace

D2L now allows all users to opt-in to having their pronouns display on their profile card. If no pronouns are set, this field does not display on the profile card. Profile cards can been viewed when hovering over someone’s name in Discussions or Assignments.

To set your pronouns:

1. In the top navigation bar, click on your name to open the settings menu and select Account Settings
2. Check the box to “Allow others to see my pronouns”
3. Enter your pronouns in the text box 

* Note: CCCS does not maintain a record of user pronouns so the first option will always read “none”
