Steps for clearing your Java Cache

For Windows Users:

  1. Click Start>Control Panel
  2. Locate Java in the list>Double click the Java icon
  3. From the General tab>Click Settings in the Temporary Files Settings
  4. Click the Delete Files button>Select both checkboxes-Applications and Applets; Trace and Logs
  5. Click OK three times
  6. Restart your computer

For Mac Users:

  1. From the Finder, go To Applications > Utilities > Java Preferences to launch the Java Preferences utility
  2. Click on the Network tab
  3. Click Delete Files
  4. Make sure both Applications and Applets and Trace and Log Files are checked
  5. Click OK
  6. Close the Java Preferences window
